Founded more than 70 years ago, the former Bohnenkamp AG today has subsidiaries and representative offices in over 30 countries . The company is now also documenting this development in its corporate structure and trading with immediate effect as a European public limited company - Bohnenkamp SE.
"With this step, we are taking account of the growing international orientation of our business activities," says CFO Michael Rieken, explaining the background behind this. In a corresponding letter, the company informed its customers and partners about the change and emphasised that all business processes and contacts remain unchanged. "This is merely a formal amendment to the business form. For our retail customers, everything remains as it is - reliable, down-to-earth and 100 % focussed on their needs," emphasises Rieken.
